Hi everyone! I’m on the hunt for a good LMS for my small tech startup. We have about 100 employees across various departments and want to use the LMS for internal training, ideally organized by department. Right now, we store everything in Google Drive and YouTube. We’re okay with spending some money, but it needs to be scalable since we’re aiming to grow a lot this year. Any recommendations?
If you have some budget, Canvas is super easy to learn and use. Otherwise, you might want to consider Sakai or Moodle, though they have a steeper learning curve.
I scaled a WP + LearnDash + Elementor + H5P setup from a few hundred to tens of thousands of users. It’s not perfect, but it worked well until I could hire help.
ProProfs Training Maker could be a good fit for you. It’s affordable at $1.97/month and allows you to separate training by department. Good luck with the growth!
Moodle is a solid option to start with and then you can upgrade as needed.
I’d suggest looking into Brainier. It’s cheaper than the big options and meets basic needs well.
Rise.com is great for tracking and building a learning culture. It’s scalable and can grow with your team.
Open Edx is another great, stable choice for an LMS.
If you’re using WordPress, Tutor LMS might be the easiest way to go.
HowToo and Rise are both excellent for small businesses, offering templates that simplify course creation.
VEDAMO is worth checking out too. It’s affordable and fits the needs you mentioned.
