What are the best authoring tools for e-learning courses?

Hey everyone… I’m diving into creating e-learning courses and it feels super overwhelming. There are so many tools out there, and I’m not sure which ones are worth it. I’m looking at Articulate, Thinkific, and Basewell but could use some advice. Anyone have experience with these or know where I can find a good comparison?

I’ve used Articulate before, and it’s pretty solid! The UI is user-friendly, but it can get pricey.

What do you mean by pricey? Like, how much are we talking?

I think it’s around $1,200 a year, but totally worth it if you’re serious about course design.

Thinkific is great for beginners! It’s less complicated and has good pricing options. You might want to check it out.

I’ve heard mixed reviews about Basewell. Some say it’s not very intuitive. Anyone else tried it?

Yeah, I found it a bit clunky. But if you can get past that, it has some cool features.

Honestly, I think it depends on your needs. Are you looking for advanced features or just something simple?

Good point! I guess I want something that balances ease of use with some advanced options.

If you want an easy start, Thinkific has a free trial. You can test it out and see if it fits your style.
