What are the best authoring tools for creating e-learning courses?

Hey folks… I’m a first-time course creator and honestly, this space feels super crowded. It’s tough to figure out which tools have the best UI/UX, pricing, and a good range of export and tracking options. I’ve been checking out Articulate, Thinkific, and Basewell. Any recommendations or comparisons?

I’ve used Articulate and found it really user-friendly! The interface is nice, but it can be a bit pricey.

How much are we talking for Articulate? I’m curious about the pricing.

@Amory
It’s around $1,200 a year, but if you’re serious about course creation, it’s worth it.

Thinkific is great for beginners! It’s straightforward and has fair pricing options. You should give it a look.

Basewell has some nice features, but I’ve heard it can be a bit clunky. Anyone else have thoughts?

Yeah, it took me a while to get used to it, but it does have good capabilities once you figure it out.

Honestly, it depends on what you need. Are you looking for something simple or more advanced?

I’d like to find a balance between user-friendly and having some advanced features.

If you want to try before you buy, Thinkific has a free trial. It’s worth checking out!
