I have a company that provides resources to the manufacturing industry, providing free content in the form of podcasts, blog, and newsletter. I also sell some in person workshops and trainings, merch, and sell sponsorships and ads. I would like to also have a membership area that has full extended versions of the podcasts and some ebooks and online courses. Is there one platform that can host all of it?
I have looked at Kajabi, not sure it fits my needs.

Sure! So, if you want to set up a cool all-in-one eCommerce site with a built-in Learning Management System (LMS), you can totally use WordPress. Just start by creating a WordPress site and add WooCommerce for your online store. Then, pick a WordPress LMS plugin that fits the features you need for your courses.
Just a heads up, though: you’ll need some solid WordPress skills to make sure everything runs smoothly together!

I understand your requirements, and it sounds like you need a comprehensive platform to manage your content, sales, and membership aspects. While Kajabi is a great option, I can offer you a custom platform tailored to your specific needs. My services include:
- Custom platform development to host your podcasts, blog, newsletter, workshops, trainings, merch, sponsorships, and ads
- Membership area creation for extended content, ebooks, and online courses
- Integration with payment gateways for seamless transactions
- User-friendly interface for easy management and updates
Let me know if you would like to discuss further to explore how I can help you build a platform that meets your unique requirements and grows with your business.

Honestly, I thought Kajabi was the best fit given your requirements. Anyway there are other options; but you might find you need to integrate some third parties for in-person ticket sales (i.e. EventBrite). You could look at Podia and Circle.

If you’re looking for a simple solution. You can try this using Wordpress plugins
- Member press for membership Management ( You can also gate contents based on membership level )
- Learndash for content distribution
- Any payment gateway for E-commerce
We used to do a lot of this for coaches for few years
Comprehensive solution:
- Build or customise a existing LMS platform to host your contents
- Handle tiered customisable membership tiers
- Use Stripe for PG on E-commerce
Both has advantages and if you’re just testing the waters would recommend WP option. If it’s for a established business, custom solution is preferable.
We have experience handling both, feel free to DM if you need any help.
