Math Courses for Credit

Hi everyone!

I am looking for some online courses on math (preferably in the areas of linear algebra or probability and statistics) which have been accredited, i.e., they can be counted towards college credits. I need this since I am applying for a few master’s programs in Europe and the universities there require a set number of ECTS to consider the application.

Any suggestions on this?

Open University in the UK might have some possibilities for you. Outlier.org has some math classes that count as college credit in the US, but they don’t mention anything about transferring as ECTS.

Westcott Courses is one I’ve found for math classes, same ones you’ve described. I’m actually looking for similar asynchronous courses but for Python, so let me know if you know of any.

Thanks, IW! I’ll check Westcott Courses out. If I come across any Python credit courses, I’ll let you know!

Coursera partners with some accredited universities and offers credit-eligible math courses through programs like the University of London and the University of Illinois. It might be worth checking if they transfer as ECTS for your European applications.

Good call, UniBound99. I’ll definitely look into Coursera’s options. Thanks a lot!
