Are there any SCORM converter tools available for free that do not impose a trial period or overlay logos on your work?
I work in a budget-constrained department and need to convert a PowerPoint to SCORM. I found iSpring, which is ideal, but it adds their logo to the player, which isn’t what I’m looking for.
Finding a free SCORM converter tool without trial periods or logos can be challenging, but there are some options available. Xerte Online Toolkits and Adapt Learning are robust open-source tools that allow you to create SCORM packages from PowerPoint presentations without imposing watermarks or logos on your output. ExeLearning is another open-source option designed for educational content creation, offering SCORM compatibility without added branding. H5P provides a versatile platform for creating interactive content, including SCORM packages, with no logos or trial restrictions. For a straightforward HTML to SCORM conversion, Scormify is a reliable online tool that remains free to use. These tools offer varying levels of complexity and features, so exploring which best meets your specific conversion needs is advisable before proceeding.
The SCORM package that has been converted may lack the polish and interactivity found in content created using a specialized eLearning authoring tool. If you require a more sophisticated SCORM course with advanced functionalities, trying out a trial version of a premium eLearning authoring tool could be a more suitable option.
I’m not sure if any, but here are some things you could try:
Copy and paste all of the content into ChatGPT, then ask it to do the heavy work by converting it into e-learning content with a learning objective and a summary.
The chat gpt information may then be copied and pasted into text components and exported as SCORM using a useful application called Evolve, which offers free trials.
