Best E-Learning Tools for Small School District Staff Training

I’m wanting to create a training for my district staff to complete at the beginning of the school year. I’m looking to create trainings in something like Articulate or Captivate, but I would need to track completion of the modules. It doesn’t seem like the completion status is a part of Articulate or Captivate. My district doesn’t have any LMS besides Google Classroom. Can someone point me in the direction of the most cost effective option?

More Details:

-I want to do simulation/walk through modules that are easy for teachers to follow and actually get a walk through practice on the programs we’re introducing.

-My district has about 480 staff members that will need trained.

-I have previous experience with Captivate.

You can look into using Articulate Reach as a delivery platform. You get 300 users per year included with your articulate 360 license. However, you’d need to upgrade to the next level to get 480 staff through.

Alternatively… instead of paying for a full blown LMS, you could embed a Google form at the end of the course and have people answer questions or just submit the form to track completion. They’d need to put in their email and name correctly but that’d be the easiest (cheapest) way to do this.

I love the Google Form idea! Thanks so much for this input!

You’re welcome! If you wanna get real fancy, you can use Autocrat to automatically generate course certificates from Google Sheets and Google Docs when they submit the form, but just for data tracking, this is probably the best way to do it (for free).
