I manage e-learning content for a company with 1000 employees across multiple countries and languages. We use LMS365 from the 365 cloud suite for our learning platform. My courses typically include videos from Camtasia or After Effects, audio from Audacity, images from Illustrator, and Sway pages to tie it all together.
Now, I want to transition to creating SCORM-compliant courses to enhance personalization, interactivity, and compatibility across our various catalogs. Which SCORM creation tool offers the most options for customization and interactivity? I’ve heard of Articulate 360 Storyline, iSpring, and Adobe Captivate, but I’m seeking insights from those who have used these tools extensively.
I suggest Articulate Storyline for your demands for customization, interactivity, and cross-catalog interoperability.
With templates, many interactive objects, and modular material for reuse, Storyline provides flexible creation. The courses have tiny file sizes for any network, are compatible with any LMS, and comply with SCORM/xAPI. More than 20 languages are supported by the UI.
For highly interactive, customized e-learning at scale, Storyline offers the most robust and adaptable features, though iSpring and Captivate are also viable choices. Please contact me with any questions!
I have found that Captivate is really effective for creating courses with non-linear routes. However, using Captivate is an unpleasant experience. Using Articulate, which is also rather advanced if you need it to be, has made my life lot more enjoyable.
