Like others have mentioned, Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline are among the main tools used for this purpose, though there are several others available. If you need a quick overview of what SCORM entails, I’d be more than happy to walk you through it. Once you have a grasp of that, you can start looking for the optimal solution for your client. Feel free to send me a direct message if you’d like to have a discussion.

If you’re not skilled in JavaScript coding, Articulate Storyline (or Rise) and Adobe Captivate could be the simplest choices for you.

If you’re already proficient in JavaScript coding, handling SCORM involves server calls. Familiarize yourself with the specification and explore examples and existing libraries.

No coding required for most SCORM authoring tools! They often use drag-and-drop and have templates to build e-learning courses like a pro

The “best” tool depends on your project. Consider features , ease of use, and cost .

Here are some options to get you started:

  • Free: iSpring Free, H5P, Adapt. It is good for beginners
  • Paid: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat.
