Which project management software are you using for course development?

I’m working on two separate projects, and each of them involves scripts, animations, and a workbook. We’re a small team – just three people – but managing this is a headache. I’m looking for an affordable project management tool that will support task dependencies, possibly notes/updates/discussion on individual tasks, and delivery timelines. Bonus points if you can suggest a CMS to store it all.

Look into Airtable or Notion.

I used Notion then went to Asana since I am just using it to track my own projects. Then Asana’s trial ended and they locked all my boards because I had custom fields which pissed me off. So I’m back to Notion and haven’t looked back. They’re basically equivalent at the level I’m using them.

What has been your experience of multiple dependent projects? Notion has worked fine for one project stream. I’m just not sure how it can handle dependencies between multiple projects. It also gets expensive fast.

Trello is another option you might consider.

Monday is also a good system.

We use Asana but Monday is also a good system.

Look into Cognota.

ClickUp is amazing!

Great question! For your needs, I highly recommend checking out GanttMaster.com. It’s an affordable project management tool specifically designed to handle task dependencies, discussions, and delivery timelines.

Teamflect is another option you might want to check out.
