Hey guys, I’m a bit confused about which LMS would be the best for my use. I’m running an agency and my business has two main parts. First, I provide elearning classes to my clients’ new hires. I need a way to include individualized checklists and learning paths for each new hire. Since it’s part of a larger contract, they should receive a coupon to access the classes. Second, I want to offer a class to the public that anyone can purchase. Happy for any recommendations,
What is your yearly budget? There are 1000s of LMSs. Start with your budget. There are cheap ones and really pricey ones. Depending on what type of training you’re doing, I can suggest some.

I haven’t set a strict budget yet but I’m looking for something cost-effective. Any suggestions?

Maybe start with a free one like Moodle? It could work for your needs.
Try Moodle LMS. It’s free and customizable, great for beginners. I’ve helped clients use it and they’re doing pretty well.

Thanks for the tip! Is it easy to set up?

Yeah, pretty straightforward. Just follow the instructions and you should be good.
You might need to do some research or hire a consultant.

I’ve done a bit of research already but it’s overwhelming. Any recommendations on where to find a consultant?
TalentLMS is great. It’s low cost and SCORM-compliant. You can have two setups for clients and public users.

Sounds interesting! I’ll look into it.
It really depends on your budget, scale, and headcount. Lots of options from DIY (like Moodle) to more complex solutions.

That makes sense! I think I need something that can grow as my business does.
@LizCampbell
Exactly! Be clear about your needs and it’ll help narrow down your choices.
