I’m looking for recommendations on the best platforms for online learning, specifically in the areas of entrepreneurship, finance, and trading.
That is an incredibly diverse question with myriad different resources depending on what you actually want to learn in finance. Is it microeconomics or macroeconomics you want to master first? Is it commodities, futures, ETFs, or individual stocks you want to trade? Are you trying to learn how a business operates in terms of how their COGS affects their EBITDA? Or understanding their indirect and direct costs on their balance sheet? Are you in retail and trying to understand a P&L sheet? Or is this a personal quest for early retirement and you’re unsure if an Index Fund or a Money Market will supplement your Roth IRA + 401k nest egg?
To start, I would recommend going through Khan Academy’s Finance courses at Khan Academy Finance and Khan Academy Personal Finance, which cover both personal and corporate financial education. You can supplement your education by referencing Investopedia for any unknown terms. Then watch educational finance summary videos to better understand business finance.
Thank you for articulating this for me. What you listed above is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m a bit illiterate regarding economics and finance, and honestly, I don’t know where to start. I’ll definitely take a look at your recommended courses. Thanks a lot.
I’m struggling with this. I come from the creative advertising and design world where the courses are great. Now I’m trying to learn more business-related stuff, and everyone is trying to scam me.
