I’m looking to compile some potential features for a webinar that are not normally included in an LMS that actually solves problems or challenges for L&D folks. What is missing in your system that you come across often?
For example, all LMS’s have reporting. But not all have Saved Reports you can automatically rerun at intervals (ex: every third Friday of the month)
Creatively guilt trip learners for not taking their assigned training
Any ways past the “past due” course status, LMS notification, and email?
Maybe a creative way could be a pop-up with animation? Would love to brainstorm
Besides consistently work? And be designed and supported by actual learning professionals?
I want…actual badging and certifications that are exciting. Easy to see data and reports, easy to use integration with teams webinairs. Duolingo level reminders for learners.

Wish they would just include the AI video creator
You should ask “learners” this rather than people who want others to learn.
Not to say as e-learning professionals our opinion isn’t important, but I think there is a big disconnect between “creating engaging e-learning and measuring impact” and what the regular learner actually wants.
Enforced microlearning
I would love our LMS to be able to recommend d courses based on courses already taken. An intelligent recommendation.
I wish ours had discussion board capabilities. I’d love to be able to have cohorts go through courses “together” but at their own pace.
Build-in AI tools to help generate learning plans and course material that includes images/diagrams/videos etc.
