What do you all think about the future of e-learning by 2025?

I just read about how e-learning is expected to change a lot by 2025. With all the tech advancements, it seems like digital tools are really reshaping how we learn. I mean, AI, AR, and VR are being talked about a lot, but I wonder if they really make a difference in education. Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I’m curious too. How long do you think something has to be a trend before it’s considered normal? I feel like AI and VR have been around for ages in education but still feel kind of new.

I used to work on the vendor side of instructional design, and honestly, a lot of these ‘trends’ seem driven by marketing rather than real educational needs. It’s all about attracting investment.

I think it’s important for people who aren’t tech-savvy to be cautious. Articles written by non-experts can be misleading about what’s really happening in education tech.

I read the article and honestly, it felt like it was written by AI. Lots of hype but not much substance. What do you all think?
