Suggestions on the best lms for small business

Hi, I’m currently searching for a good LMS for my small tech startup. Here are some details about the company for context:

  • 100 employees across multiple departments
  • Looking to use the LMS for internal training, with content separated by department
  • Currently store everything in Google Drive (videos, PowerPoints, docs) and YouTube
  • We’re willing to spend some money but want to ensure the LMS is scalable as we aim for exponential growth in 2022

All recommendations will be highly appreciated.

If you’re looking for a budget-friendly Learning Management System (LMS), consider these options:

GoSkills LMS: Offers personalized learning experiences and a free forever plan.

Sakai: An open-source LMS with collaborative features.

LearnDash: A popular WordPress plugin for LMS.

I’ve grown a WordPress LMS using LearnDash, Elementor, and H5P from a few hundred to tens of thousands of users in the past year. It’s not perfect, but until recently, I was the only technical person on our team, handling everything on my own. Now, I’ve hired someone to help with content creation and user support as our catalog and user base have expanded.

Do any of these LMS options integrate well with these tools?

hi folks when making your decision, remember to consider your specific business needs, such as onboarding, compliance, and training.

If you have money to spend Canvas is the easiest to learn, use and experience. Otherwise, Sakai or Moodle (hosted). Steeper learning curves but decent enough.
