We want instructors to input their time off, and based on courses already scheduled, we’d love a system that can suggest times for 5, 1-hour courses over the next month with available instructors. It also needs to host SCORM and XAPI courses, integrate with Microsoft Teams for tracking 12-week ILTs, and provide reports with some visuals. Am I dreaming or does something like this exist?
Honestly, the auto-scheduling feature seems to be the biggest hurdle. I haven’t seen a tool that provides that level of analysis for instructors, especially with time off considered. Is there a specific reason you need that?
You might want to look into Moodle. It’s SCORM compliant and allows for scheduling assignments. For integrating Teams, you could probably use LTI or develop a plugin. Plus, the reporting options are pretty solid with various plugins available.
