First, no DMs from sales reps. My question: The free tier says up to 5 users. From what I understand, if it’s just me, I assume the role of admin and instructor rolled into one, leaving 4 ‘Learner’ users. Does this mean that only 4 people can sign up for a course? Or is ‘Learner’ a role where multiple users can take a class? I tend to overthink things, so if someone can ELI5 the number of users in free accounts, that would be super helpful.
TalentLMS customer service can probably help, and they’re likely to provide accurate information.
I’m on the free tier myself. I use it to showcase my work to potential employers. Up to 5 user accounts can be in the LMS, which can view any of my courses. I don’t think that includes me as the admin, but I’ve never had more than three users at a time.
Admins and users should be separate. What are you looking to host, and what’s your target learner count?
