Which tool(s) do you use to report problems and test, ensure, and control the quality of your e-learning content? Right now, we’re using an Excel sheet, which is just too unreliable and complicated.
Is there a product or service that enables testing after a course has been made or added to an LMS with Review360-like testing features? For example, take screenshots of the problematic area and leave comments?
This is specifically done after adding a course to the LMS.
The optimal method is to complete QA testing before publishing to the LMS. Once it reaches the LMS, the only testing that should take place is to ensure that it functions properly.
Are you already doing alpha and beta tests in Review? Are people offering feedback then? Why are you not receiving feedback until it is in the LMS? Have you communicated clearly with your reviewers about what comments to offer at each round? Is there a firm rule that “no content changes will be accepted after the beta review; only fixes if something is broken”?
Once you’ve reviewed the faults in your entire procedure, you’ll probably discover that the Excel sheet is OK. You shouldn’t be experiencing so many functional difficulties where things break once they’re in the LMS.
If you have a lot of functional difficulties with the LMS, it’s worth investing time troubleshooting and determining why. Is there an underlying cause why your courses frequently break in the LMS? Can you resolve whatever the issue is?
If you’ve done all of this and still need more than a spreadsheet, look into site review tools. Pastel has been used to collect comments on HTML material that Review 360 cannot review. Pastel is compatible with almost any connection to a website. There are several website review tools available, so browse around and see what could work.
