Pluralsight vs Linkedin Learning

Hey folks, I’m searching for a subscription service where I can learn various tech and creative skills to boost my professional profile. Specifically, I’m keen on:

  • User Experience (like design, research, prototyping)
  • Product management
  • Web development (HTML, CSS, JS, etc.)
  • Basics of data analytics
  • Customer Experience

I’m torn between Pluralsight and LinkedIn Learning. I’ve tried Pluralsight before and dug the video format, content quality, and flexible learning paths.

LinkedIn Learning is new to me. It seems like a fancier Udemy, but I’m unsure about the content quality. However, I like that it offers certificates of completion that I can flaunt on my LinkedIn profile, making it feel more rewarding.

Have any of you tried these platforms? Any good or bad experiences? Or maybe you have another recommendation? Price isn’t a concern since my company covers it, but keep it in line with Pluralsight (£146 for Black Friday) or LinkedIn (£180).

Hey there! I use Pluralsight, and I really like it for the deep dives into specific tech skills like web development. Their learning paths are great for structuring your learning.

My company purchased a business license from Udemy, and the response we received in the first year has been generally positive.

@Terryanne As far as I know Because Udemy does not screen its instructors, it is simpler to acquire a mixed bag than with the other platforms I mentioned. I think Udemy’s content to be cheap because of their (almost) constant price reductions. You can easily find courses “slashed” to 9.99/19.99. Just my two cents, though—I believe I’ve only purchased one course there.
