New, Innovative eLearning Content Authoring Tools in 2024?

I work as an ID at a large software company where we use Evolve Authoring as our main authoring environment. It’s a lot like Articulate Rise… a responsive design-centric alternative to more full-featured eLearning platforms like Storyline 360 or Captivate. We like it for its focus on valid & accessible HTML5-first, relatively simple workflows, and full set of learning interactions. I’m curious if there are any new, exciting, and relatively unknown authoring platforms out there that haven’t yet become household names… anyone have ideas?

Hey, not sure which of these you already know or have tried, but here is a big selection of tools you could explore. Some are quite new and innovative!

Nice list. Thanks!

I’m evaluating some authoring tools for a language academy and some that impressed me are Avallain Author, Domiknow, and Chameleon. Anyone have experience with these?

This is interesting! I’ve heard good things about Chameleon. What do you think of it?

@Hudson
I found their site a bit pricey, but the features look cool. IDK, what do you all think?

I’ve been using Articulate 360, but I saw some nice examples developed with these tools: Chameleon Creator and isEazy.

Chameleon Creator looks really nice! Have you tried it?

I had been looking for something like modular widgets for a while. I even thought about creating something similar myself. Anyone else interested in this idea?

Sounds cool! What kind of features would you want?

Commenting so I can find this thread again. This is super helpful!
