Micro-Learning-- Looking for resources and examples

Hello everyone! I’m relatively new to the e-learning and instructional design world, but I’m working on some projects to help revamp my company’s training. We’re really interested in micro-learning, and I’m trying to find resources related to developing this style of learning. I’m currently reviewing the ATD publication ‘Microlearning: Short and Sweet’ by Defelice and Kapp. Does anyone have experience with microlearning and can recommend more resources or practical examples? If we find a compelling example, we’d like to dive right in and create a test lesson. I appreciate the help!

Micro-learning is awesome! I’ve used it in training before. Have you checked out the website ‘Elearning Industry’? They have great articles on micro-learning.

I love that site! They have a lot of practical tips. Did you find any specific articles helpful?

Yeah, their articles on creating bite-sized content are super useful. I’ll definitely check them out again.

I recently attended a webinar on micro-learning that was really insightful. I can share the link if you’re interested.

Yes, please! Webinars are a great way to learn from others’ experiences.

Check out the Learning Guild! They have a lot of resources on micro-learning and examples of successful implementations.

I’ve heard of them! Their case studies are pretty detailed. I’ll look into that.

I’ve developed micro-learning modules using Articulate Rise. It’s super user-friendly and great for creating quick lessons.

That sounds interesting! I’ve been wanting to try Articulate. How was your experience with it?

The best part about micro-learning is that you can test and iterate quickly. Don’t be afraid to experiment!

Good advice! I think starting small and building from there is the way to go.
