Looking for a good e-learning tool for my vet clinic

Hi guys, I’m on the hunt for a training platform for my employees at the clinic. We have about 30 staff members and I want to create training and centralize information. Ideally, I’d like to have quizzes and track employee progress. I have a limited budget, though. I’ve got tons of videos, podcasts, and quizzes ready to go. We have four types of staff: animalists, receptionists, technicians, and veterinarians. The current videos mainly cover our appointment and customer management software. The goal is to build a knowledge system to see which employee knows what. This way, when we hire new staff, they can learn online first, and then get hands-on training with a mentor. This setup will help ensure everyone has the same knowledge base and reduce mistakes. Thanks a lot!

Moodle is a great choice! It’s free and widely used. I think it’ll fit your needs perfectly.

Yeah, I’ve heard a lot about Moodle. Is it easy to customize?

Totally! There are tons of plugins you can use to add features without spending money.

Have you checked out other platforms like Thinkific or Teachable? They might be worth a look.

I looked at Thinkific, but it can get pricey. Moodle seems way more budget-friendly.

If you’re tech-savvy, Moodle is fantastic. Just be ready to spend some time learning the system.

Good to know! I might need a few tutorials to get started, though.

I agree with DEF. Moodle is very popular in education. Lots of resources available.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll definitely check it out.

Just be cautious of some LMS sales pitches. Many companies really push their products hard.

Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. Sometimes it’s better to go with something tried and true like Moodle.
