Just trying to make a course, running into every blocker possible

Hi, making an online course seems to be one of the most challenging ways to make money. Does anyone know of an LMS that is visually appealing to end users? My target audience is UX and UI designers, so having a well-designed platform is crucial. I need an LMS that:

  • Is visually familiar to end users
  • Allows for a monthly subscription pricing model
  • Provides support and tools specifically for individual course sellers

Any advice is well received and appreciated.

Have you looked at LearnDash? It’s a WordPress plugin, and if you use a page builder like Elementor, you can design the site to look however you want. It supports SCORM integrations, too!

Thanks for the advice! It also needs to be mobile-friendly. I know a little HTML and CSS, so I might try this avenue.

We use WP+LearnDash+Elementor+H5P. It works great on both desktop and mobile, but ensure you have a good hosting provider to handle traffic.

Consider finding SCORM authoring software you’re comfortable with. It allows easier shopping for LMS options that meet your requirements.

Check out Paradiso LMS. It has a clean design and offers great tools for course creators, which might suit your needs.

For an all-in-one solution, look into Teachable. Their plans range from $40 to $120 per month, and they handle everything for you.
