How to integrate e-learning into a community type website?

I’m curious about how to set up an e-learning facility for my community website. We provide localized business support and want to add e-learning courses as a value add for our users. Everything is free for them, and we make revenue through partnerships and ads. I’ve checked out some white label services, but they seem expensive since we have thousands of users, even though only a few might actually use the e-learning. I’ve also looked at Moodle but don’t have much experience with it. We don’t need heavy tracking like a company would. Any help would be appreciated!

You might want to host your content directly on your site or use AWS/Google Cloud to embed it. Keeping it simple could be the key, right? If tracking isn’t a priority, a full LMS might overcomplicate things.

That makes sense! I like the idea of embedding content. Easier access sounds good.

What tools are you thinking about for creating the learning content? I’d love to share some recommendations!

I’m open to suggestions! Our audience is micro business owners, so I need something simple yet effective.

Storyline could be a good fit for your e-learning needs. If you want something more complex, you might consider tools like Camtasia or even Construct 3 for interactive projects.

I’ve heard of Storyline! Is it user-friendly? I’m not super tech-savvy.

Yeah, it’s pretty intuitive! Just be mindful of your budget, though.

I think a needs analysis could really help you pick the right tools. It’s important to know what your audience needs.

Absolutely! I’ll definitely start with that. Thanks for the tip!

I’m in a similar boat! Looking for ways to make resources accessible for my audience too.
