How do I import Storyline files into ComplianceWire... anyone know?

I’m super new to eLearning and my company is slowly trying to improve our training. We currently use ComplianceWire to house our training videos, and we were told that we could import Storyline files into it for our trainees. But honestly, we have no clue how to do that. Anyone have any advice or tips?

You need to publish your Storyline project to SCORM to get a compatible file. Then, create a new WBT training item in ComplianceWire and upload that file.

Okay, perfect, thank you for your help!

We use CW at my company too. Just publish your Storyline project as a SCORM zip file. When you create a new training item in CW, select SCORM and upload the zip file. It’ll ask you if you want it opened in a new window and the size for that.

Oh, that makes sense! I kind of got thrown into this project and the training department doesn’t have access to CW yet. They’re working on it, but this has been a learning experience for sure. Thanks for the help!

Hey, I’m also trying to output a Storyline SCORM package for ComplianceWire. Do you know what output settings I should use?

Just make sure you select the right SCORM version when publishing. Usually SCORM 1.2 or 2004 works best.

Gotcha, thanks for the tip! I’ll check that out.

IDK if this helps, but if you’re still having trouble, I can make a small tutorial video for you. Just let me know

That would be awesome! I might need it since I’m still figuring things out.

Oh, that got deleted… anyway, back to the topic! Anyone else have trouble with file sizes? I heard big files can slow things down.

Yeah, keeping files under 100 MB usually helps! Bigger files can be a pain during uploads.

Thanks for the advice! I’ll keep that in mind while working on it.
