Frustrated with LMS search

Hey guys, I’ve been searching for a new LMS for well over a year now and I’m really at my wit’s end. Just when I think I’ve found a solid solution, I hit another snag. We’re an education provider in a niche arena and it seems like we don’t do business in a ‘typical’ way, which is probably what our clients like about us. We offer both B2C and B2B services, catering to both large and very small businesses. Plus, we have a variety of offerings like a la carte, bundles, and subscriptions. Yet nothing seems to fit the bill at all. Even custom development doesn’t seem to make sense when the framework exists; we just can’t find a company that has it arranged the way we want. Currently, we’re using LearnUpon, and while they get the job done, they lack some eCommerce features that have created issues for us in the B2C area, and the customization options are quite limited, among a long list of little things. I fear that what I want doesn’t exist, especially after 18 months of looking, but it could also be that I’m not searching for the right thing. I want to take the functions of all the LMSs available and pick and choose through them. Any advice, words of wisdom, or hidden gems would be really appreciated.

I totally get your frustration. Have you looked into Thinkific? A lot of people say it’s pretty flexible for different business models.

I feel your pain. Have you thought about using a mix of platforms? Sometimes combining tools might work better than relying on one.

Have you checked out Podia? They focus on creators and might offer the flexibility you need.

I totally understand the struggle with customization. Have you thought about reaching out to LMS vendors directly to explain your needs? Sometimes they can make adjustments.
