E- Learning Platforms

Hey! I am trying to create a e-learning portfolio and am not sure what to include. Would creating a few mock training outlines be enough? I really don’t have access to an actual LMS to build out something on an actual e-learning platform. So would creating a PPT be enough?

What are some ways I can build out my portfolio ? Any recommendations, inspiration, or resources would be super helpful!! (I do not have access to the work I created at my old job)

Can you create something on Wix or a similar free site to mimic an LMS? How to upload an Articulate Storyline course to a website

After some more google-fu, Wix won’t work but there are several suggestions in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/instructionaldesign/comments/17n1vkj/wix_portfolio/

Thanks for looking into that for me! The article seems helpful and I will use it to help build my portfolio.

Ive only ever used Canvas as an LMS because it’s free and has a lot of built in accessibility. They also have a porfolio feature, but I’m still learning how to use that.

Theres also Google Classroom and Moodle that are free. Everything has pros and cons. But you could create content in each of those platforms just to show you can. It wouldnt have to be anything too complicated. But that would give you options to include experience with LMSs.

Im working on building a porfolio too! Good luck!
