Hi All, I did some searching in the sub, outside the sub, and Googled a bit before asking, but I didn’t quite find a succinct answer to my question. I have an offline occupational English course that I’d like to convert to an eLearning platform. I’m hoping someone can suggest platforms based on a few criteria or point me to a good comparison article. I want easy setup so I can get it off the ground quickly and tweak later. Also, I’d like to be able to port out to another platform later, so I’m not stuck there. Self-guided courses are important to me; I want students to take a course and then an auto-graded quiz. Charging is another factor since I’d like to make money from it. It would be great to segment courses by occupation, and I also need some supervision capability so a manager can check employee progress. Mixed media support is a must, as well as discount codes. I’m open to self-hosting if there’s a good option. I appreciate any thoughts in advance and I’m not looking for hand-holding, just a few ideas to narrow the field a bit. Thanks!
Hi there! TrainerCentral might be a great fit for your needs. It has easy setup for quick onboarding, self-paced learning, and auto-graded quizzes. Payment integration is seamless, and you can track learner progress. It supports mixed media and has a coupon feature for discounts. One thing we don’t have yet is course segmentation by occupation, but you can manage it with personal invitations as a workaround.

Thanks for the detailed info. I’ll definitely check out TrainerCentral.
Our company platform can cater to your requirements and set it up quickly with AI features and discount codes. I’ll PM you my details for a 30-day free trial to test it out.

Sounds good, I would appreciate the details.
Based on your goals, I’d rule out self-hosting. Solutions like Learndash will require too many integrations, which can get costly. You might want to try Learnworlds or similar platforms.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll look into Learnworlds.
Go for LearnDash Cloud if you’re okay with the budget; it’s a solid option. LearnWorlds is also a good choice, but if you downgrade, you’ll need to delete website pages since they limit it.

Good to know, I’ll keep that in mind.
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions; I appreciate it.
