Hello, There are so many platforms available that it is simple to become disoriented in them. I believe that what I am looking for is quite simple and focused, yet none of the solutions I have found to fit the bill or are affordable.
I am searching for a platform where I can post six courses (audio and video); participants who pay the full fee will work on one course each month. The content will be released daily, and there will be several membership levels available. Some members will pay less and receive access to only one course; the other courses will be inaccessible to them. To create a community, I would also like them to be able to exchange questions and thoughts on a single page or feed.
The audio and videos should ideally be hosted on the same site. After every lesson, there will be a question with four solutions.
What do you think are my best options for this?
As an experienced digital content creator, I’ve navigated various e-learning platforms to find the right fit for specific needs. I’ve found that Thinkific, Teachable, and Kajabi are well-suited for your requirements. These platforms allow you to host audio and video content, create structured courses with daily releases, and set up multiple membership levels.
They also offer built-in community features like discussion boards. With Thinkific and Teachable, you can create quizzes after each lesson, ensuring engagement and assessment. Kajabi, though pricier, offers an all-in-one solution with robust community-building tools and comprehensive course management features, making it an excellent choice for your needs.
As someone who has navigated the vast landscape of online learning platforms for years, I’ve seen the evolution from simple content delivery systems to comprehensive learning management solutions. To meet your specific needs offering multiple courses with varying access levels, daily content releases, integrated community features, and hosted audio/video content I would recommend exploring platforms like Teachable, Podia, or Kajabi.
These platforms offer robust course creation tools, membership tier capabilities, and community features. Teachable and Kajabi, in particular, support video and audio hosting directly on their sites and provide quiz functionalities after each lesson. Additionally, their pricing plans are flexible, allowing you to scale as your community grows, making them both affordable and effective for your requirements.
I recommend using Skillshare since it focuses on creative and practical skills. It operates on a subscription model where students pay a monthly fee for access to all courses, rather than purchasing individual courses.
In my opinion, use Teachable. Teachable is a popular platform for creating and selling online courses independently. It allows you to customize your course website, set pricing, and retain a higher percentage of sales. Teachable also offers marketing and analytics tools.
Podia is a fantastic platform for building membership-based courses. It offers a user-friendly platform for hosting content, managing subscriptions, and accepting money. Podia allows you to provide a seamless experience for your students while also giving special content to your subscribers.
