Hi everyone, I’m currently doing my Master’s in math education and I’m planning to design blended learning for my thesis research. I’ve been checking out a bunch of open source LMS options, but there are just so many out there. Do you have any suggestions? FYI, my budget is super tight since I’m from a developing country and paying in dollars is kinda rough. So, I’m really looking for free options. Thanks!
Moodle.org is free open source.

I preferred Moodle to Canvas.

Mind sharing some advantages of Moodle over Canvas? I only know Canvas pretty well.
@Amari
Canvas has a nice UI for sure. But Moodle has more flexibility if you need specific features.
Canvas LMS is also free open source.
As an instructor who has used both, I find Canvas easier to use. But it’s been a while since I tried Moodle.
Canvas is great but it can be bloated and needs decent server resources.
If you’re looking for something simple and free, check out this link: Multibridges: Home. It’s super easy to use for micro-learning.

Sounds interesting! But can you use it for bigger courses?
@Mia
Not really, it’s best for shorter courses but great for quick setups.
