Beginner Friendly:
Canva: Yes, Canva! Easy to use with tons of templates for basic courses with text, images, and quizzes. Great for beginners!

Evolve. That is my preferred authoring tool. You can make some very nice HTML5 based courses using it.
I’ve produced courses for some very big clients using it, and they loved the results.
