Are there any online courses/training/certifications that actually hold any weight in a job search?

I don’t mean to be vague but I want to explore every option I have.

No college degree, just a high school diploma and many years of generalized construction/trade experience. Enough to have wasted the last 10 years of my life doing various jobs, but not enough to convince most companies to hire me as anything above an entry level position.

I’m starting to wonder about remote positions doing office type work, but I don’t have a degree or any experience in sales.

Is there any pathway into that world outside of going back to school for 4 years?

Check out Degreeforum.net. I got my degree in less than a year. There’s a lot of option available out there. WGU has a cyber security degree that can be done in 6 months. It’s not easy but the rewards are great. A lot of what Degreeforum.net recommends is for working adults that want to move ahead in life.
