I’m considering getting an online bachelor’s degree in psychology before heading to a traditional university for my master’s and beyond. Is it worth it? If so, which universities would you recommend?
I did my BA in Psychology through Athabasca University in Canada. It’s accredited, and I had no issues applying to grad programs afterward.
Honestly, I’d say almost certainly not worth it.

Getting into a reputable grad program with an online undergrad can be tough unless you have some solid research experience.
What if you do get involved in research? Does that help?

Yeah, it could make a difference. But just having an online degree alone might not be enough for reputable programs.
@Lilyharper
That’s a bummer. I guess it’s more about proving your skills and knowledge, huh?
I think some online degrees are great, but you need to choose wisely. Look for accredited programs with good reputations.

Thanks for the tip! Any specific schools you’d recommend?
