Anyone tried the MITx Pro course on tech leadership?

Hey all, I started this MIT xPRO course on technology leadership and innovation, and it’s been super informative so far. Thought some of you might be interested. If anyone else has done it, would love to hear what you thought! I’ve looked at this course a couple of times. How in-depth is it? Is it mostly video lectures or interactive stuff?

It’s a mix of both! They have video lectures but also quizzes and case studies, so it’s more hands-on than I expected.

That sounds great! I might just have to give it a shot. Thanks for the info.

Is it self-paced, or do you need to follow a specific schedule?

It’s mostly self-paced, but they do have deadlines for some assignments to keep you on track. So it’s flexible, but there’s still structure!

I’ve done an MITx course before. Do they give a certificate at the end?

Yep, you get a certificate when you complete the course. Definitely a nice bonus!

Do they cover anything on AI or machine learning in the course?

Yes, they touch on AI and how it fits into tech leadership. Not super in-depth, but it’s useful if you’re managing tech teams!

Sounds cool. Might be worth checking out!

What’s the time commitment like? Trying to balance work and study is tough!

They recommend a few hours a week. It’s manageable if you split it up, but yeah, you’d need to make some time each week!

Got it, thanks for the heads up. I might have to start it on a lighter work month.
