Hey all, I just finished two courses from Stanford Online and it was such a great experience! The courses are free, mostly self-paced, and you even get a certificate of completion at the end. You can also find them on Edx or Coursera, but they’re hosted on the Stanford platform without any fees. Are there any other universities or platforms that offer similar features? Looking for something free, self-paced, and with a certificate?
Hillsdale College has some great free online courses with certificates: https://online.hillsdale.edu/dashboard/courses
So you’re saying that you can get a similar certificate as you would on Edx but it’s free?

Yes, that is what I am saying. Although if you want verified CME credits, you need to pay.
Hi, I am sorry I am reaching out on an old thread. I am following up on the standard online masters degree program with credits. I am wondering if they follow the same level of scrutiny as the full-time program?
@LillyGrace
I think they should, but it might vary by program. You might want to check their FAQ for more details.

CME stands for Continuing Medical Education. It’s for professionals to keep their licenses current.
