Hey folks! Has anyone found a way to manipulate Thinkific’s new resource library feature to create a category tree for courses? I’m really struggling to build a tree instead of just using the Smart Categories. Support hasn’t been super helpful either. Any tips would be appreciated!
I’ve been trying to figure this out too. It’s frustrating! I thought Smart Categories would help, but they just don’t give the structure I need.

Same here! I wish they had a better way to organize everything. Have you tried reaching out to other users in forums?
@Williams
I haven’t yet, but that’s a good idea. Maybe someone has found a workaround.
I think the Smart Categories are just a starting point. I’ve seen some people using tags creatively to group their courses better.

That sounds interesting! Can you explain how to use tags for that?
@AlexSpeaks
Sure! You can assign tags to courses based on themes or topics. It’s not a perfect tree, but it helps with organization.
I’m in the same boat! I think Thinkific needs to improve this feature for better course management.

Totally agree! I hope they listen to user feedback and make it more flexible.
Have you checked out their community forums? Sometimes you can find hidden gems in user discussions.

I’ll have to look into that. Thanks for the tip!
