On a few of my slides, there is a talking head in the upper right corner, followed by icons and captions that appear only when the talking head begins discussing the related topics. Each slide has four to five points, which, in the conclusion, fill the remaining space on the screen. I have a strange problem: the talking head is limited to the top-right corner of the screen, thus until the first point is introduced, most of the screen is essentially “blank”. How might the awkwardness be lessened, in your opinion? I’ll use a stock photo for the time being, but it fades away just before the first point is made.
Under Consideration is rather good, especially Brand New. A word of caution, however: they are a tough audience who will not tolerate fools. If you’re going to leave a comment, make sure it’s something beneficial or they’ll pounce.
I’ve been debating whether or not to change occupations and pursue my passion, art.
Well, graphic design and art are really distinct from one another. I would advise you to educate yourself on the true nature of graphic design and the daily tasks performed by designers before determining whether this is a career path you wish to pursue.
